The thesis is devoted to the psychological characteristics of the management of teaching staff in educational districts. The thesis analyzes the content, structure and distinctive features of educational districts as innovative organizations as well as highlights the psychological aspects of teaching staff management in educational districts. The author proposes a model of school principals' psychological readiness to manage teaching staff in educational districts. The work discusses school principals' psychological readiness components and their measures of development (motivational - motivational maturity, cognitive - professional awareness, operational - professional and managerial experience, personal - personal and professional self-determination) and describes the levels of school principals' psychological readiness to manage teaching staff in educational districts (basic, situational-strategic, and personalized). The author divides the organizational and psychological factors in the formation of school principals' psychological readiness to manage teaching staff in educational districts into two groups: the factors related to the activities of educational institutions and the factors related to school principals' functions. Analysis of the levels of development of the main components and the index of school principals' psychological readiness to manage teaching staff in educational districts has found poor development (both individual components and index) of school principals' psychological readiness to manage teaching staff in educational districts. The author classifies school principals' psychological readiness to manage teaching staff in educational districts as normative, strategic, adaptive, and partnership, and analyzes the relationships between the types of school principals' psychological readiness to manage teaching staff in educational districts and organizational and psychological factors. The study also explores the organizational and psychological conditions for the development of school principals' psychological readiness to manage teaching staff in educational districts, both in the system of postgraduate teachers' education and in specific educational districts.
