Gerasymov T. Daily life of the urban population of Right-Bank Ukraine during the World War I (1914 - February 1917)

The thesis is devoted to the study of the main aspects of the daily life of the urban population of Right-Bank Ukraine in the conditions of the World War I. On the foundation of broad source base involvement the complex analysis of the daily life of the urban population of Right-Bank Ukraine was realized the course of which was stipulated with the World War I. The historiographic analysis of literature, made by the author, gave the opportunity to make a conclusion about the absence of scientific work that would show an integrity picture of town daily life of the investigated region in 1914-1917. The peculiarities of towns development of Right-bank Ukraine and daily life of their inhabitants on the eve of the World War I taking into consideration the geographic location specialties, economic and worldview modernization processes and military preparations of the Russian empire for war with the States of the Triple Alliance are elucidated.
