Essay

The dissertation is a historical and pedagogical research aimed at revealing organizational and theoretical foundations, methods, forms and means of preparing young people for activities in pedagogical and other spheres of life in the educational establishments of the Ukrainian diaspora of Central and Western Europe, the American and Australian continents. their experience in the theory and practice of forming qualified teaching staff in modern Ukraine. The scientific scheme of the periodization and reception of the establishment and development of vocational training establishments of Ukrainian youth in the countries of Central and Western Europe, American and Australian continents in the XX century is outlined; the history of formation and educational activity of Ukrainian establishments for the training of pedagogical staff has been fully explored; for the scientific circulation dozens of works were introduced and analyzed for the first time, which were removed from the history of Ukrainian pedagogy, denominated or tendered; a considerable array of sources from periodical (pedagogical and non- pedagogical) editions of Ukrainian abroad, epistolary and memoir heritage; littleknown research materials of Ukrainian and foreign scientists of the XX century on education, upbringing and professional development of Ukrainian youth and their value orientations in the inter-ethnic environment; identified and characterized the leading ideas of the creative heritage of prominent representatives of the Ukrainian Diaspora in the field of vocational training and education of youth; systematically analyzed the activities of leading public cultural and educational organizations of Ukrainian foreign countries in the field of professional education of young people; the role and place of the Ukrainian diaspora in establishing new priorities in the development of modern Ukrainian vocational education has been rethought. The first institutions of vocational training for youth (public and private) in North American countries were, by volume, a synthesis of secondary and vocational schools providing Ukrainian youth with access to US and Canadian universities. In the second half of the XX century in the content, methods and forms of general and vocational training of young people there is a tendency towards practical orientation of teaching and learning, starting from the compulsory secondary school, the prevalence of ideas of pedo-centrism, pragmatism, maximum individualization of learning. Accordingly, new methods for modern Ukrainian education are being introduced: individual and group projects, trials and experiments. The amount of independent work is increasing, especially in the study of academic disciplines. The system of training of future teachers gradually establishes the principle of generalized vocational training as a basis for future work with any curriculum and school curricula; psychologization of education in the pedagogical establishments is observed. We note that it is quite possible to relay the educational achievements of the western Ukrainian diaspora of the XX century in the contemporary context of national reality, marked by the processes of globalization and its changes and new priorities of education of Ukraine.
