The dissertation is devoted to the research of experience of personal well-being, which is considered as an integral indicator of overall experience of quality of life and life activity as a whole, which in subjective space combines experience of quality of life in all relevant areas of life activity of an individual, including in professional activity. Personal well-being is the experience and integral reflection of the subject of the quality of one's own life and life activity as a whole.
The conceptual model of the impact of personal well-being experience on professional (service) activity has been developed, which shows that the experience of the state and the quality of life assessment directly affect the professional (service) activity. And, therefore, a leading socio-psychological factor that influences the experience of personal well-being and determines the psycho-emotional states of the personality is the place of professional (service) activity in the psychological structure of life. And if a person is completely dependent on the conditions of professional (service) activity and fulfillment of professional duties, he/she has limitations of his/her ability to provide actual needs, goals, life prospects in different spheres of life. Systemic integrity of personal well-being is also manifested in the fact that the overall experience of personal well-being as an assessment of the quality of general life and as a reflected experience of the state of this quality is a basic condition, which also affects the professional (official) activity and life in other areas and determines their effectiveness.
An empirical study of the psychological peculiarities of personal well-being of the staff of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was conducted on the basis of a developed focus-holistic model. The structural components of personal well-being have established the personal feasibility of life, personal self-efficacy and personal harmony, professional competence and self-realization, professional-organizational motivation and professional development and achievement. Four types of personal well-being are identified: personal-oriented (experience of well-being in the context of personal and professional feasibility of life), career-oriented (experience of well-being as a result of success in a career), professionally-oriented (experience of well-being as a process of self-realization as a professional) and socially-oriented (experiencing well-being in the context of social interactions). The peculiarities of personal well-being of the staff of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in the context of personal (meaningfulness and orientation of life, purposeful orientation towards the future, internal conflicts and vacuums, experience of emotional and positive states and comfort, reflection), professional (professional identification, self-realization and growth, demand, interpersonal interaction) and the attitude of others) and organizational (organizational culture of relations and organizational management, satisfaction with the content of work and achievements pits in it, relationships with management, colleagues, working conditions) focuses were defined.
It is proved that the structure of experience of personal well-being of specialists of different professional communities has differences and depends on the place of professional activity in the psychological structure of their life activity. The type of professional activity influences the structure of personal well-being experience: the specificity of professional (service) activity determines the differences in the experiences of personal life, personal harmony and self-efficacy, professional competence and self-realization, professional-organizational motivation, professional development and professional achievements depending on age, length of work (service), service status, experience of private practice and differences in overall indicator and types of personal well-being. On theoretical and methodological levels were developed and tested psychodiagnostic screening questionnaire, a program of psychological support for personal well-being (a program of psychological counseling and а training program for the development of professional and life-long goal-setting and psychological facilitation of personal growth of the staff of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine), as well as were offered recommendations to practical psychologists and military chaplains of the border department regarding for the implementation of these measures.
