Essay

The thesis investigates theoretical and practical principles of would-be speech therapists professional training in the conditions of information and educational environment in higher educational institutions (concept and strategy of would-be speech therapists professional training in the conditions of information and educational environment in higher educational institutions (today, institutions of higher education according to the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” as amended by Law No. 2145-VIII of 05/09/2017); an integrative model of would-be speech therapists professional training in the context of the information and educational environment in higher educational institutions; organizational and methodological system of would-be speech therapists professional training in the conditions of information and educational environment of higher educational institutions. The essence of the key concept of the study “would-be speech therapists professional training in the conditions of information and educational environment in higher educational institutions” and the structure covering the motivational and personal, informational and competent, activity and technological criteria with appropriate indexes to indicate the levels of would-be speech therapists readiness in the conditions of information environment in institutions of higher education (high, medium, low) was specified. The content of the following subjects “Corrective Psychological Pedagogy”, “Specified Methodology of Primary Language Teaching”, “Specified Methodology of Speech Development”, “Games in Speech Therapy Work”, “Specified Pre-School Pedagogy”, “Theory and Methodology of Teaching Children with Speech Defects”, “Pre-School Lingual Didactics”, “Fundamentals of Defectology and Speech Therapy”, forms, methods and techniques of would-be speech therapists professional training in the conditions of information and educational environment in institutions of higher education was improved.
