In the research tutoring is considered as a phenomenon of modern pedagogical practice, the nature and the content of tutoring activities of teachers with children of different school ages (elementary, secondary, high school) and stages of formation and development of tutoring in Ukraine are determined. The urgency of solving the problem of efficient training of future teachers for tutoring is confirmed. Training of tutors in such countries as the USA, the UK, EU countries (France, Germany, Poland), developed countries of Asia (Korea, China, Taiwan, Israel, UAE) and Russia is analyzed. The main ways of forming tutor competence abroad (training at higher educational institutions according to the relevant specialization, passing certification courses) and the main directions of using the foreign experience of training tutors with the adaptive potential in Ukraine are identified. The structure of the tutoring competence of future teachers in the composition of suggestive, psychological, pedagogical, organizational, informational and technological, methodological, communicative, perceptive and research components is determined. The criteria, indicators and levels of formation of the tutoring competence that determine the effectiveness of organizational and methodological fundamentals of vocational training of future teachers for tutoring are specified. The concept of vocational training of future teachers for tutoring in the informational and educational environment of higher education institutions is substantiated. In it vocational training of future teachers for tutoring activities is presented as a step-by-step formation of the tutoring competence of future teachers through the study of the appropriate content, the use of a complex of forms, methods, tools and technologies of teaching, the solution of appropriately selected tasks that correspond to the components of tutoring activities in the informational and educational environment. The process of vocational training of future teachers for tutoring is modeled, which has allowed to determine the tutor qualification characteristics, the descriptors of five levels of the National Qualifications Framework of Ukraine for tutors, the tutor job functions based on the requirements for the work content and conditions and to develop a model of vocational training of future teachers for tutoring in the informational and educational environment of higher education institutions.
