Galchenko M. The Potential of Creative Thinking in the Challenges of the Global World (socio-philosophical analysis)

The analysis of contradictions and ambiguities of modernity actualizes the activity of thinking as an intellectual resource in the cognition of the dynamic, nonequilibrium processes of civilization development. The creative essence of the culture of innovative thinking contributes to the understanding of the new social reality created by information technology. Their activities conditioned the emergence of new practices of life, new meanings of activity, modern lifestyle. In their unity, they laid the foundations of a new anthropology, which led to a change in the usual system of values. In such a situation, the need to determine the meaning of life and human activity is growing, which is possible by means of activization of thinking process. At the same time, its complication takes place, which contributes to the development of a cognitive dialogics aimed at the successful resolution of local and fundamental problems of cognition. The interdisciplinary direction, which unites new directions of science that studies the issues of thinking, presents the theory of ognitive science, the tangent to which cognitive psychology appears. Creative abilities of thinking determine its orientation to social constructivism. On its basis, reality appears as a social construction, open to a radical reconstruction of society and an autonomous human activity. In the context of social constructivism, a theory, a project, a model is a product of a particular paradigm of thinking. This definition became the result of an analysis of the strategies of the genesis of the history of cognition, which demonstrates three main areas of thinking: logical, philosophical, and psychological. In their context, thinking is the key to solving the problems and challenges that the humanity and the individual face. In this situation, the creative function of thinking is the reality cognition, determined by specific goals. Mastering the rules and norms of thinking activity is a condition for the realization of personality in a situation of dynamics of processes of the global informational world, which are increasingly complicating.
