Object - the process of professional training of future physical education teachers in higher education institutions; purpose - to substantiate scientifically and theoretically, develop and test experimentally the pedagogical system of professional training of future physical education teachers for the organization of physical culture and health environment of general secondary education; methods: theoretical (analysis, generalization, modeling), empirical (observation, generalization, conversation, pedagogical experiment, questionnaire, survey, testing, pedagogical monitoring, graphical analysis), statistical (Pearson, Student and Kendall criteria); novelty: for the first time the theoretical and practical foundations of the professional training of future physical education teachers for the organization of physical and health-improving environment of a general secondary education institution have been substantiated; for the first time the author's interpretation of the concept of "readiness of future physical culture teachers to organize physical education and health education in a general secondary education institution" is presented; its components (personal, cognitive, procedural, reflexive) are characterized; for the first time the pedagogical system of professional training of future teachers of physical culture for the organization of physical education and health environment of the institution of general secondary education was developed; criteria and indicators have been developed for the first time to characterize the level of readiness of future physical education teachers to organize a gymnasium for general secondary education; the content of the concept of physical and health-improving environment of the institution of general secondary education is specified; the content, forms and methods of professional training of future physical education teachers to organize physical education and health environment of the general secondary education institution are projected; further development of scientific provisions on the professional training of future teachers of physical culture to organize physical education and health environment of the institution of general secondary education.
