Magas V. Socio-political organizations and authorities in Russian Ukraine (1905 - February, 1917).

The thesis presents a fundamental analysis of activity socio-political organizations and their relationship with the authorities in Russian Ukraine (1905 - February, 1917). The study of socio-political organizations and its interaction with the authorities, the scientific papers of scholars should be divided into several groups: pre-revolutionary, Soviet, modern and foreign historiography. At the same time, important aspects related to the activities of public and political organizations remain unclear. This necessitates the preparation of multi-method academic paper. It was cleared up that the following groups of sources were used to study the outlined problem: 1) legislative acts; 2) record keeping documentation; 3) periodicals and political journalism; 4) statistical materials; 5) documents of special origin. These sources allow us to fully and comprehensively consider the activities of socio-political organizations in the studied period. When working upon the academic paper we held to the neoclassical model of historical research. In presenting the material, we proceeded from the concept of modernization. General scientific and special methods of other sciences as well as special-historical methods were used.
