In the dissertation, a theoretical justification and experimental study of the issue of the formation of value self-relationship among preschoolers is carried out. Based on the analysis of philosophical and psychological-pedagogical sources, methodological approaches to the study of the problem of formation of value self-esteem in preschoolers are revealed: personality-oriented, personality-value, subject-subject. The essence of the concept of “value self-attitude of a preschooler” is defined, which we understand as a set of representations, experiences and constructive or destructive self-assessments of a person in the form of their own reflective qualities, which are generalized into a value “I”, determine the style of its behavior, activity and communication. The genesis of a preschooler’s value self-relationship is interpreted as an individually and socially free creative act of his conscious realization of his value essence, which is associated with a dynamic change in his “I”, the development of identity. The criteria of value self-esteem of the preschooler's personality (cognitive, emotional, motivational, communicative, regulatory) are substantiated; typology of values ​​of preschoolers (spiritually developing, spiritually developing with spiritually corrective elements, spiritually destructive) and its hypothetical levels (high, average, low). Personally oriented technology of formation of value self-esteem in preschoolers and pedagogical conditions of its realization are developed and experimentally checked.
