Essay

The dissertation work is dedicated to pharmacological analysis of the processes of pain relief and chondroprotection for experimental consideration of the optimal use of analgesic and chondroprotective drugs for osteoarthritis with hypothyroidism. The results of the work is a basis for the development of rational approaches to pharmacotherapy of pain and inflammation and providing adequate chondroprotection in patients with osteoarthritis with concomitant hypothyroidism. Combined use of L-thyroxine, diclofenac sodium and chondroitin sulfate with the aim of increasing the non-inflammatory effect of single drugs is advisable for comorbid condition - osteoarthritis with hypothyroidism, renewal of morphometric dimensions of the affected joints, rupture, examination and vegetative activity of the gums and biochemical markers of the inflammatory process. The absence of biopharmaceutical interaction between the indicated preparations was established. Combined use of diclofenac sodium, chondroitin sulfate and L-thyroxine promotes active regeneration of both cartilage and bone tissue with formation of neovasculogenesis areas, and combined use of L-thyroxine, diclofenac sodium and chondroitin sulfate can be recommended for clinical examination of osteoarthritis comorbid with hypothyroidism.
