Essay

In the dissertation, theoretical generalization and the scientific solution to the problem of social formation of pupils of 8-11 classes in complex out-of-school educational institutions have been carried out. Theoretical analysis of the problem of social formation of personality in the field of social pedagogy on the basis of ideas of axiological, systemic, culturological, phenomenological, existential methodological approaches was conducted; the theoretical foundations of social formation of personality (philosophical, sociological, psychological, socio-pedagogical interpretation) were determined. The essence of the concept of «social formation of personality» is specified and the structure of this phenomenon in relation to the senior teenager, senior school age is defined. The comparative analysis of conceptual bases, purposes and values of out-of-school education of Ukraine and non-formal education of children and youth of other European countries is carried out; the social and pedagogical potential of complex out-of-school education institutions in social formation of pupils is proved. Criteria of social formation of pupils of 8-11 classes, levels (high (prosocial), average (neutral), below average, low (asocial) were defined; the state of the problem of educational practice was determined. On the basis of theoretically substantiated conceptual bases of social formation of pupils of 8-11 classes in out-of-school education establishments the technology of social and pedagogical support of social formation of pupils (senior teenagers, high school students) of out-of-school educational institutions was developed and tested.
