Essay

Object – free-time culture of pupils of general education schools; goal - to substantiate the use of different forms of physical activity for the formation of rational culture of school-aged children’s free time; methods - theoretical analysis and generalization, sociological methods, analysis of documentary materials, pedagogical methods, mathematical statistics methods; novelty – there was substantiated the concept of the use of different forms of physical activity for the formation of rational culture of school-aged children’s free time; there was defined the priority of forms of physical activity among the components of free-time culture of pupils of general education schools; results – there was proven the potential efficiency of the concept of the use of different forms of physical activity for the formation of rational culture of school-aged children’s free time; there were defined directions and mechanisms of the formation of rational culture of school-aged children’s free time; there was substantiated the need for increase in physical activity of pupils of general education schools according to the indicators “unorganized play activity”, “organized sports activities and physical activities” and “active movement” in compliance with AHKGA standards (Global alliance “Active healthy children”); specialization − physical education and sport.
