Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the socio-philosophical foundations of freedom as a factor of socio-cultural transformations of modern Ukrainian society. The purpose of the dissertation research is to substantiate the socio-philosophical foundations of freedom in the context of socio-cultural transformations in modern Ukrainian society. The object of research is the socio-philosophical principles of freedom. The subject of research is freedom as a factor of socio-cultural transformations. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the fact that for the first time in Ukrainian social philosophy a study of freedom as a factor of socio-cultural transformations was proposed. The dissertation presents the socio-philosophical category of freedom as a key factor that contributes to socio-cultural transformations of society and affects the dynamics of its development, manifested in the social, political, material and spiritual spheres of social life. New approaches to the conceptual analysis of freedom in the sociocultural plane are theoretically substantiated and practically used, which allowed to synthesize the concepts of freedom in the socio-philosophical aspect and verify specific hierarchical levels and spheres of manifestation, revealing the essence, meaning, specificity, social orientation and internal modern society. The evolution of the concept of freedom from epistemological analysis to the understanding of freedom as a socio-cultural phenomenon and spiritual and moral category is revealed. Socio-cultural determination of the will strengthens the role of the subjective, moral principle in the process of human activity. Based on socio-philosophical analysis, it is proved that globalization is re-actualized in the gap between economic and cultural models of development of different social systems.
