The model of the system of professional training of future teachers of biology and basics of health for social and pedagogical activity is substantiated and developed. The requirements of the European educational space for the training of a modern teacher, methodological and social problems of forming the readiness of future teachers to carry out socio-pedagogical activities in the secondary school are analyzed. The categorical-conceptual apparatus is defined; the components of readiness for socio-pedagogical activities are structured on the basis of the causal-system approach. The content and structure of the teacher's socio-pedagogical activities are substantiated on the basis of the available evaluation criteria and its place in the structure of pedagogical activity is determined. The system determinants, principles, organizational and pedagogical conditions of formation, content and criteria for assessing the degree of readiness of the teacher for socio-pedagogical activities are characterized. The materials of the work reveal and clarify the meaning of the concepts "activity", "socio-pedagogical activity", which reveal the phenomenon of "readiness of future teachers of biology and basics of health for socio-pedagogical activity". Socio-pedagogical activity of a teacher is defined as a kind of his professional activity, which aims to create appropriate conditions for successful socialization of students in the socio-educational environment of the school, their socio-cultural experience to prepare for self-realization in society, helping children and their families. cases of negative influence of socio-pedagogical factors. The effectiveness of the model of the system of professional training of future biology teachers and the basics of health for socio-pedagogical activities has been developed and experimentally tested.
