Novokhat'ko L. Socio-Economic and Cultural Process in Ukraine in the Context of the National Pjlicy of the Soviet State in the 1920's - mid-30's.

The problems of socio-economic and cultural development of the Ukrainian SSR in the 20's - mid -30's are studied within the context of natonal policy of the Soviet State. In the dissertation, such most imporant problems of this many-sided topic are analyzed as: the formation of the Ukrainifn Soviet statehood; its political-legal, Communist Party nomenklatura levers and cultural factors; the natinal-ethnic aspect of the New Economic Policy; the intelligentsia's role and place in the "New Course"; alternative ways of Ukraine's economic and cultural development; a historic mission of the policy of peculiarities of the industrial management in Ukraine; collectivization of Ukraine's agriculture as a tool of distruction of socio-economic foundation of the "Ukrainian socialism"; socio-demographic and ethic consequences of the socialist reconstruction; the Ukrainian issue in the "Cultural Leap" philosophy; the process of "cultural aligment" of the ethenic minorities.
