Essay

The autor points out the volume of pedagoical heritage of Ivan Ogienko (fmous Ukrainian scientist, church, publical man, one of the founders of national education in the Ukraine), the essence o his peagogical ideas. The thesis points out that the position of scientific hartage of professor grund on the dominate allhuman values, which include national pecularities and examine in investiation as historical and pedagogical regulariies, upbrining ideas, organization princiles, didactic and methodic regularities, upbringin ideas, organization principles , didactic and methodic demands and recomendtions, which presents the system of his views, maintainig in his native and foreing scientists is analysed. The thesis also points out during te soviet period of our society, the scientific and pedagogical heritage of Ivan Ogienko was undmeritedky out of scientific investigations and the name of scientist was withdrawn from scientific use. The essence of main concetion idea, which consists in understanding of scientific and pedagical haritage of Ivan Ogenko as complex of archive's scientific and literal sources complete the experience of teacher-manager, organizer of youth upbrinig, that help to sove the actual problems in the sphere of education. On the basis of monographs, text-books, materials o letters and other sources the author grounds the essence of pedagogical actyvity and the methodological aspects of scientific work of Ivan Ogienko, finds out the main directions of his scientific and pedagogical work. The dissertation presents the analysis of school teachers' personality in the light og Ivan Ogienlo heritage, the importance of didactic and methological security, the role of text0books contents for rising the level of teaching and studing. Additionally the scientist's conception of national school teacher's duty to teach in native language is shown. The means of formation and moral self-perfection of pupils' perconality, their connection with teacher's influence, indicated in Ivan Ogienko works, are re vealted. The author underlines such means of pedagogical influence as children's attitude to the fainth of their people, native language, native history and geagraphy. The thesis points out that the main directions of person's moral self-perfection Ivan Ogienko consided in rise of spiritual culture, correct organization of mental and manual labour, in formation the respect to the leaders of native state and recognition the achievements of other people, the use of experience of mental enrichment of eldest generation of their families, people in whole. The thesis deal with issues of education establishment management, the criteria of recruitment of educatin staff, as well as the use of incentives to stimulate the work of teachers. It is underliner that the teacher must constanly perfect his skill, take into consideration the predencessors' experiment, based the upbringing work on the faith of his people, from the pupils' skill to value correctly the actions of other people. The possible of scientific heritage of Ivan Ogienko in secondary education establishments in Ukraine has been considered, practiculary within the courses of history of the Ukrainian pedagogic, history of the Ukrainian literature, fundumentals pf the culture of language, history of the Ukrainian literature, fundamentals of the cultural of language, history of Ukraine, study of religions in higer educational establichments. Also the pedagogical heritage of Ivan Ogienko has been analyses in the light of its introduction into the family and school education. The necessity of alternate guaidance in cincrete situation is underlined. The thesis states the fact, that the investigation of Ivan Ogienko works is necessary for teachers, parents, social men in order to sove some problems, to do possible the unification of the school and high school subjects with the idea of progound cognition of the world, for working out the skills of deeping the knowledges. The author points out the main directions, which can be investigate on future, su ch as the lighting the meaning of Ukrainian inetructors' contribution in the development of native education on the materials of scientific and pedagogical haritage of Ivan Ogienko, studing of historical experience og pedagogical activity of Ukrainian getmans on the facts of historical divine monographs of scientist, analysis of the tends of development of Ukrainian national school during 1918-29, shown in his ideological essays.
