Yakuba K. Social and Economic Problems of Formation and Utilisation of Female Labour Resources in Agrarian Sphere

Object of research: labour relations of women engaged in the agriculture of Ukraine researched in unity with their demographic aspect. The purpose of research: elaboration of scientific and methodological bases for both practical recommendations on formation and effective utilization of the organizational, economic and legal forms and methods of labour resources management in rural areas and such activation of policy regarding formation of female labour resources which would contribute radically to improvement of social status of peasant women. Methods of research: comparative-economic, economic-statistical, sociological analysis, abstract logic and structurally functional approaches, expert estimations etc. Theoretical and practical results: a substantiation of theoretical and methodological bases of formation of economic mechanisms, legal bases and organizational tools of demographic improvement and revival of the Ukrainian villages, reproduction of labour resources and improvement of social status of the women; regional balances of labour resources to year 2005 were elaborated. Subject of innovation: for the first time scientific investigations are directed on the solution of socio-economic problems of formation and utilization of female labour resources in agrarian sphere and fundamental improvement of the social status of peasant women and balancing of available labour resources in villages with necessity in them in transition conditions. Degree of introduction: the methodical and practical investigations were used in implementation of 11 state and branch programs and also tasks-orders of the Ministries and authorities of Ukraine. Individual results were used in preparation of the draft of the National program of development of agroindustrial production and social revival of villages of Ukraine, Law of Ukraine On provision of pensions, realized concerning retirement in favorable terms of some categories of women, employed in agriculture.
