Mandybura V. Living standard of the population and mechanisms of its regulation.

Object of the investigation is the population of Ukraine, its separate social groups and strata, as well as public institutions and entities which belong to different forms of ownership, social and economic, organization and legal forms of influence on the living standard of the population which are typical for them. Subject of the investigation is the complex of the economic, social, organization and legal relations and causal relationships, which form structural components of living standard of the population and the mechanisms of its regulation. The purpose of the dissertation is the systematic scientific investigation of problems regarding the living standard and its dynamics taking into account the economic situation in the country and specific character of the process of social transformation. The results of investigation are recommended for use in process of working out programmes of social and economic development of Ukraine, preparation of projects of the legislative and normative acts concer ning the reformation of mechanisms of taxation of income, social protection and social maintenance of the population of Ukraine, working out mechanisms of realization of the basic directions of the social policy, improvement of the components of the purpose-oriented programmes aimed at ensuring the civilized living standard.
