The thesis investigates theoretical foundations and practical issues of using special knowledge in the investigation of destruction or damage to property, formulated and substantiated a number of new provisions and conclusions relevant to forensic science, investigative, expert and judicial practice. The theoretical bases of research of problems of use of special knowledge during investigation of destruction or damage of property are comprehensively revealed. Theoretical provisions and practical recommendations that will help investigators to fully utilize specialized knowledge in investigating the destruction or damage of property in order to achieve maximum results, will improve the method of investigation of crimes. The definition of forensic characteristics of the investigation of the destruction or damage of property as a mere generalized factual data and the scientific conclusions based on those recommendations on the most typical forensically significant features of criminal wrongful acts, knowledge which is necessary for the organization of such an accomplishment, offenses. Visually, the types and characteristics of forensics, the characteristics adopted in many cases, and the practical methods that formally represent the types information model of the investigation of destruction or damage to property, belong to the subject of encroachment, methods of preparation, commission and concealment of the crime, the following picture of the crime, the situation of the crime, the person of the offender, the identity of the victim, the motive and purpose of the crime, the nature of pecuniary damage.
