In this dissertation, conceptually-methodological approach to a problem of life designing of adolescents is presented for the first time, in the context of a person’s life-creativity psychology, regarding the specification and justification of theoretically-methodological and methodical bases of an adolescent’s life project realization; the psychological construct of life designing has been developed, its psychological factors have been identified: values, self-determination, activity, reflection and four relative dimensions of manifestation: subjectival, potential, «not enough maturity» and self-affirmation; the sensitive period of life designing process has been established (adolescence).
The essence of such concepts as «life project», «life designing in adolescence», «life sense search», «existential reflection» were specified within psychology of becoming and life creativity of a person, based on analysis of philosophical, sociological, psychological and pedagogical literature.
Further there have been developed the personal and spiritual growth peculiarities in adolescence, as well as the process of a person’s organization of their own life-activity; kinds and contents of professional life project construction of future specialists in the methodical providing of educational process in higher educational institutions.
The practical significance of the obtained results is that the diagnostic methodology complex was developed basing on the contents of psychological life designing construct, the criteria of life designing estimation rates in adolescence are identified, the basic characteristics their relative levels are explained.
Theoretical and experimental materials of the study can be applied for the development of lectures in psychology, special courses and seminars, workshops and special workshops in higher educational institutions.
In the context of life creativity, life designing was defined as process of subject's direction of their creative life activity to design their life through self-determination basing on the reflection and values.
The systemic description of life designing of a person as a holistic object allowed us to define its leading psychological factors: values, self-determination, activity, reflection; four relative dimensions of manifestations: subjectival, potential, ‘not enough maturity’ and self-affirmation. The analysis of literature allowed to outline the sequence of life design phases: creation of a life project model, planning, realization of life project through practical self-transformation and self-transcendence
According to the experiment data, the numerous correlations between both rates within particular methods and between rates within different methods were seen. The defined factors empirically confirmed theoretical construction of life design, and they reflected the peculiarities of diagnostic methodology complex contents.
The comparison of the results of working adolescents and students in adolescence gave grounds to сlaim about: higher level of reflexivity and ability of life decision-making of adolescents, who work; higher levels of sense-life orientations and ability of self-determination within students; the adolescents, who work preferred allometric, and students – self-centered value orientations.
Received results of the empirical study has showed necessity to implement the psychological accompaniment program, the main goal of which was to supply psychological conditions for the optimization of adolescents’ life designing skills, which would include strengthening of the ability to predict authorial life decisions, usage of constructive strategy for life goals achievement, increasement of sense-life activity, achievement of high level of reflexivity.
