Essay

The study presents theoretical justification and proposes a new solution to the problem of preparing future musical art masters for the formation of schoolchildren’s vocal culture based on the use of technology of participation as a musical-pedagogical innovative resource. The problem of vocal-pedagogical training of future musical art masters is actualized. It is qualified to form vocal culture of schoolchildren of different age categories and in different conditions of educational process. Vocal culture is presented as a unique part of the cultural heritage of mankind, characterized by democracy and accessibility for its development. The purpose of research is to develop theoretically and test experimentally the methodology of preparing future musical art masters for the formation of schoolchildren’s vocal culture by means of technology of participation. In the theoretical study the culturological projection of vocal culture is identified. It plays a communicative, spiritual, educational, and social-adaptive functions. The essence of vocal culture is clarified, which is a kind of musical and cultural heritage of a certain people, state, nation, which concentrates the values of vocal art and the degree of its preservation, assimilation, improvement and transmission from generation to generation on the basis of national and world vocal heritage. The essence of future musical art masters’ vocal culture is determined. This professional quality is characterized by a synthesis of vocal-performing and vocal-pedagogical, methodological aspects of culture. The study analyzes music and pedagogical literature on the formation of schoolchildren’s vocal culture. The essence of preparing future musical art masters for the formation of schoolchildren’s vocal culture is defined. The result of this process is preparedness of future musical art masters for the formation of schoolchildren’s vocal culture by means of technology of participation. The component-functional structure of the specified quality is developed. It consists of vocal-semantic, vocal-performing and methodological-productive components. The content of each component and the functions it performs in the whole process of vocal training of future musical art masters are specified. The methodology of formation of the phenomenon under investigation is substantiated, which is constituted by artistic-communicative, culturological (along with multicultural), organizational-innovative and acmeological scientific approaches. Pedagogical conditions, techniques and methods of their realization are defined as means of technology of participation. The first condition (implicit): purposeful creation of individual-group organizational forms. The second condition: expansion of artistic information of vocal training on the basis of author’s thematic projects. The third condition: stimulating a critical attitude to vocal art and performance. The fourth condition: actualization of spiritual and value constants of vocal art. This professional quality was assessed using artistic-worldview, creative-performing, innovative-organizational criteria. The levels of formation of the studied quality are determined: initial –“indifferent”, medium –“imitative”, high –“productive”. The effectiveness of introducing technology of participation in the process of preparing future musical art masters for the formation of vocal culture of schoolchildren has been experimentally tested. The expediency of the introduced pedagogical conditions and their techniques by stages is confirmed: information-value, during which the first(implicit) and the second pedagogical condition were introduced; motivational-praxeological, which combined techniques and methods of the first and third pedagogical conditions; facilitative-cultural, during which the first and fourth pedagogical conditions, their techniques and methodological tools were combined.
