Essay

The research is concerned with a topical scientific task - theoretical grounding and experimental verification of pedagogic conditions required for the purposeful elaboration of self-educational competences in the future skilled mechanical engineers during their professional training. The scientific novelty of the results: for the first time, the pedagogic conditions for self-educational competences development in the future skilled mechanical engineers during professional training thereof (constant formation of the students’ demand for self-education; efficient organization of the future skilled mechanical engineers' independent work; the use of interactive training technologies for professional training of the skilled workers; the purposeful elaboration of the interaction participants' culture of information) have been defined, grounded, and experimentally verified. As the methodical basis of assuring thereof, established is the integrity of skill-approached, person-oriented, system, active, axiological, informational, and technological approaches. Developed is a model of a purposeful elaboration of the future skilled mechanical engineers’ self-educational competence during professional training thereof. This model, as an ideal construction, reflects structurally and functionally the design of the process being studied in the integrity of methodological-purposeful, personal, essentially-technological, and diagnostic-corrective units. The author’s methodic has been elaborated to develop the self-educational competence of the skilled mechanical engineers, based on the regularities of the step-by-step development of students’ self-education activities, ensuring constant development of this integrative personal skill by means of challenge-based development training, simulation game training, training design technology, methods of organizing an efficient independent work and the use of IT-technologies in the students’ independent mastering the professional skills and during the classes of an optional course “Modern self-education technologies”.
