Essay

In the thesis the methodology of forming presentation skills in future musical art teachers in the process of piano training is developed, theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested. The differences between the purposes and means of achieving success in realization of the presentation message in various spheres of human activity are revealed. The social factors that actualize the need for the formation of presentation skills in the educational activities of musical art teachers are highlighted. The essence of the concept of “presentation skills of future musical art teachers” is defined as a system of conscious, purposeful verbal-informational and interpretive-performing actions aimed at generalization of artistic information in the process of public speech aimed at forming their aesthetic beliefs and encouraging comprehension of musical-artistic images as a special form of reality cognition. The pedagogical conditions are substantiated, the effectiveness of their implementation was ensured by specially developed methods that contribute to the successful formation of presentation skills in future musical art teachers. It is determined that such pedagogical conditions are: focus on self-determination of the target content of the presentation on the basis of systemically conditioned interaction with listeners; encouragement to finding one’s own solutions for the preparation and publication of the script of the artistic presentation; creation of a developmental artistic-educational environment in the process of learning based on the ambiguity of the information context and the content unity of the presentation. Generalization of the obtained results of the ascertaining stage of the study made it possible to identify three levels of presentation skills formation: episodic (low), periodic (medium), systemic (high). Experimental verification of the developed methodology of forming presentation skills in future musical art teachers in the process of piano training was carried out during the molding experiment at the preparatory, imitation-constructive and reflexive-demonstration stages. For each stage the purpose, pedagogical conditions, principles and methods were defined. Methodological tools were focused on the formation of a certain group of skills. Confirmation of the reliability of the obtained results was carried out on the basis of processing of experimental data by methods of mathematical statistics, in particular Fisher’s criterion φ*.
