The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of theoretical and methodological intellectual investments in the innovative activity of enterprises and the development of scientific and practical recommendations in the management, formation and implementation of an innovation strategy at industrial enterprises of Ukraine.

In the process of intellectual investment research, the material values that ensure the growth of the national economy have been identified and include the process of investing in the development of the enterprise. Theoretical concepts of investment, the impact of intellectual investment, human capital and innovation activity on the economic efficiency of an industrial enterprise and industry are defined and systematized.
The theoretical concept of «human capital», which is an incentive for the development of the enterprise and which is influenced by three factors, has been carried out: the past period; changes in the economy of the enterprise; knowledge related to changes in human resources; scientific concepts of foreign and domestic researchers. It is proved that the interaction of human capital and intellectual capital gives the enterprise a significant economic effect due to extraordinary decisions, thoughts, professional skills and knowledge of human capital.
The theoretical approach to the estimation of the economic effect of intellectual investment in industrial enterprises, the types of cost estimation, the criteria of the valuation of the intellectual investment, methods and approaches of the estimation of the intellectual investments are determined.
In the second section, «Analysis of the state of efficiency and evaluation of intellectual investment in the industrial sector» is defined: analysis of intellectual investment of the global market situation on the example of the countries of the world; the top five countries in the world according to the Global Economic Information Index; expenditures on innovative development and a share of GDP of the countries of the world; country dynamics in the global innovation index. According to WIPO, which integrates such international systems as: PCT - international patent system (inventions); Madrid system - international trademark system; The Hague system is an international system of industrial designs, researched and analyzed innovative activity of the countries of the world.
The analysis of intellectual investment in Ukraine for inventions, utility model, trademark influencing the sustainable development of industrial enterprises of Ukraine is analyzed and revealed.
It is substantiated that in Ukraine innovative regional potential is partially used. The management of innovative development in Ukraine is underdeveloped, both theoretically and practically, often not taking into account the region's resource data, which creates additional difficulties for development and operation.
The competitive advantages of the enterprises of the railway industry of Ukraine on the examples of design bureaus of Ukraine and the railway construction enterprises of Europe, the structure of applying for objects of intellectual property rights and the obtained economic effect from the introduction of innovative activity, the money that can be saved when using the wagons of improved designs, are analyzed. the current state of innovative activity of the railway industry.
In the third section «Improving the management of intellectual investment in industrial enterprises» in modeling the international knowledge transfer in the economy with the purpose of verification in the framework of the econometric model using panel data, the relation between the dependent change of GDP per capita and the regressors is proposed and calculated and regional aspects, grouped into 4 integration technology clusters, resulting in partial concluded credibility hypothesis in shaping the international ties of production, transfer and use of knowledge.
The mechanism of intellectual investment management strategy at the meso level has been developed, which makes it possible to analyze the main factors of the internal and external environment of the enterprise and to analyze the innovative potential of the industrial enterprise, which is the main condition for competitive development and transition to a new, digital economy.
