Bulaev V. Administrative and legal regulation of the information services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

The dissertation examines the legal regulation and activities of information services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, forms and means of collecting, analyzing, processing and providing information, types and forms of interaction with other law enforcement agencies for crime prevention and information exchange. Peculiarities of interaction of information services of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with state and non-state mass media are considered, the best world practices (experience) of activity of information services of law enforcement bodies and ways of its introduction in Ukraine are analyzed. Proposals on organizational and legal improvement and development of information services of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine are given. It is emphasized that the urgency of the topic is due to the urgent need to widely inform the public about the effectiveness of state institutions, in particular in the fight and prevention of crime. One of the main bodies is the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, an important area of which is to widely inform the public about the effectiveness of state institutions, which has recently paid much attention to building feedback with civil society institutions, openness and transparency in the process and citizen.
