Essay

The dissertation theoretically substantiates, developed and experimentally tested the effectiveness of the program "Orange Ball" for pupils of 3-4 grades of secondary school to increase the level of their morphofunctional condition and physical preparadeness. The first section "Theoretical and methodological principles of development of physical abilities of junior schoolchildren in the process of learning motor actions" presents an analysis of available information on the existing conceptual principles of physical culture and health work with primary school pupils; age features of physical and motor development of junior schoolchildren are defined; information on the content and direction of physical education of children 6-10 years old in schools of foreign countries is presented; the information on application of innovative approaches to the organization of work on physical education of pupils of primary classes of comprehensive school is given. The second section "Methods and organization of research" shows the validity of research methods, their adequacy in relation to the object, subject, purpose and tasks of the work, the feasibility of applying the selected methods; describes the organization of the study and the contingent of subjects. The following methods were used to solve the tasks set in the work: theoretical (analysis, generalization and systematization of data from literature sources, normative documents); pedagogical (pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, pedagogical testing); medical and biological (anthropometry, pulsometry, spirometry, dynamometry, functional tests); methods of mathematical statistics. The third section "Age features of the physical condition of primary school students in the process of physical education" presents the results of the observational experiment. The data obtained by us show that: indicators of physical development and functional state of the surveyed contingent are within the age norms; most indicators of physical fitness correspond to the average and below average level of student achievement. The results of the correlation analysis indicate the relationship between indicators of morphofunctional status and physical fitness. Factor analysis of the physical condition of the surveyed contingent allowed to determine the rating of motor skills that are most related to the morphofunctional state of the body in terms of variance and their ratio in the overall structure of physical training during training with priority use of mini-basketball. The obtained results are the basis for the development of a program with priority use of mini-basketball "Orange Ball". In the fourth section "Organizational and methodological foundations of integrated development of physical abilities of students of 3-4 grades by means of mini-basketball in the process of classroom physical education" based on the analysis of literature sources, “the Orange Ball program” was substantiated and developed by the data of the observational experiment. The proposed program included both traditional means of physical education and innovative means of using mini-basketball. Varieties of forms of work on physical education, organizational and methodical bases of their carrying out which define the maintenance, parameters of physical activities were defined. Criteria for the effectiveness of the developed program were: the dynamics of morphofunctional status and physical fitness. The data obtained during the formative experiment indicate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed program with priority use of mini-basketball. The fifth section "Analysis and generalization of research results" summarizes and systematizes the results of research, which made it possible to obtain data that confirm, supplement and are completely new to the research problem.
