Essay

The study theoretically substantiates and practically solves the current scientific problem of forming the information competence of future teachers of vocational education in institutions of higher education. The state of the research problem of forming the information competence of future teachers of vocational educationis analyzed. The essence of information competence of teacher of vocational training and its structure (motivational-value, cognitive, activity-professional, evaluative-reflexive components) are specified, criteria (motivational-value, cognitive, activity-professional, evaluative-reflexive), indicators and levels (sufficient, medium and low) were defined. Pedagogical conditions of forming the information competence of future teachers of vocational education (increasing the level of students' positive motivation to use digital technologies in professional activities; developing the content of formingthe information competence in training of teachers of vocational education; using modern pedagogical technologies in educational process of forming the information competence of future teachers of vocational education, taking into account interdisciplinary links and professional orientation); the model, organizational and methodological support of the process of forming the information competence of future teachers of vocational education were worked out. The effectiveness of the selected pedagogical conditions has been experimentally tested.
