Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the complex analysis of features of verbalization of motivational modality in agitation-political discourse. Theoretical and methodological bases of research of a category of a motivational modality are substantiated; the ways and means of its expression in agitation-political discourse through the prism of the functional-semantic approach are singled out and analyzed; the formal-syntactic organization of motivating constructions is characterized; their semantic-syntactic specificity and peculiarities of realization in agitation-political texts are described; the phenomenon of motivational modality in the communicative-pragmatic dimension is investigated; the mechanisms of perception of motivating structures by recipients are clarified. The intensity of political life and the development of technology have contributed to the active development of theoretical and methodological research in political linguistics and increasing the interest of scholars in studying the latest problems of political communication. Nowadays, language has become important in the political sphere, as it is the main and direct element of manipulation. The study of agitation and political discourse is dictated by the ability to persuade and motivate the recipients to the right, in the opinion of the addressees, actions. Political life in any society is impossible without established methods of political interaction. Political communication does not express the one-way direction of signals from the politician to the voter, but the whole spectrum of informal communication processes in society, which affect politics in different ways. The category of motivational modality as an integral feature of propaganda and political discourse is embodied in a variety of language forms and effectively influences the mass addressee.
