The dissertation is devoted to theoretical and experimental substantiation of improvement of biotechnological processing by enzymatic hydrolysis of oil and fat production waste - spent bleaching clay, in order to reduce its impact on environmental components and obtain a valuable product - a technological additive to rubber compounds. Waste recycling and conversion it into products that are suitable for further use is one of the most important components of environmental protection technologies. Under the conditions of waste disposal in landfills, there is a risk of pollution and fire, which will contribute to the formation of environmental hazards. Promising for practical use is a method of biotechnological conversion of fatty waste using enzymes - lipases of microbial origin. The process of hydrogenation of vegetable oils is accompanied by the formation of a significant amount of waste, the main of which is the spent sorbent from the stage of additional bleaching. In 2017, the volume of salomas production in Ukraine amounted to 16268 t / a year, and the volume of waste bleaching clay - 35789 kg / a year
