Essay

In the dissertation research the text-discursive analysis of one of the actual problems of linguistics ‒ intertextuality and its realization in the literary discourse of fantasy is carried out. The concepts of intext, intertext, intertextual relations and other debatable issues of the conceptual and terminological apparatus of intertextual research are specified. The concepts of intertextuality and interdiscursivity are compared. The analysis of the means of realization of the category of intertextuality in the modern fantasy discourse requires scrupulously elaboration of the definitions of the concepts of quotation and allusion available today. The result was the definition of a quotation as a secondary textual element that performs illustrative, argumentative and text-forming functions. Based on the theory of precedent phenomena, we analyzed the quotations and allusions available in the texts of modern authors, and proposed schematic classifications of these intertexts. During the study of national-precedent and universal-precedent phenomena, terminological gaps were revealed ‒ the lack of terms to denote a transonymous unit formed by the transition of anthroponyms to the category of chrononyms; we proposed the term chronoanthroponym. The active use of oneiric elements in fantasy discourse has necessitated it to offer them to denote a human act motivated by events that occurred in a dream. We propose to include in scientific circulation the term oneirofactonym. The combination of intertextuality, oneiric discourse, intermediate symbolic images, elements of artificial languages and occasional onyms creates a speech genre with a pronounced modality of unreality, which is marked at the level of syntactic constructions and lexical units. We consider promising further study of fantasy texts by Slavic authors with a distinction between the concepts of «parallel worlds» and «multiple worlds», analysis of intermediate and interdiscursive inclusions, as well as the separation of reminiscences in fantasy works. In addition, of great interest is the scientific analysis of the semantic field of the concept of MAGIC and its five-component structure, which contains in addition to the studied lexical components components «subjects of magic», «magical artifacts», as well as «magic as a process» and «magic as a phenomenon».
