The dissertation investigates the problem of preparing future pediatricians to work in a team by means of interactive teaching methods and proposes a new approach to its solution, which is to introduce the technology of preparing future pediatricians to work in a team by means of interactive teaching methods. Based on the analysis of medical and psychological-pedagogical literature, methodological and theoretical principles of training future pediatricians to work in a team by means of interactive teaching methods, based on: state and historical documents, which outline the basic requirements for these specialists; fundamental scientific sources, which specify the main definitions of the study, such as „training”, „training”, „training of future pediatricians”, „readiness”, „team”, „teamwork”, „readiness to work in a team”; scientific developments in the preparation of future pediatricians to work in a team; achievements of modern scientists and the results of dissertation research, which substantiates interactive teaching methods that optimize the process of forming the readiness of future pediatricians to work in a team. It is established that a team is a group of people or a working group, which is characterized by the presence of a common goal, interest in achieving a common result, coordinated work, distribution of roles among team members, professionalism, partnership principles. The definition of „teamwork” is considered in work as a consequence of activity; quality that determines the installation of professional situations and tasks; active state of the person causing activity. Teamwork in medicine is the professional activity of a group of professionals, including doctors, nurses and others, including social workers, nutritionists or physiotherapists, who manage the care of a certain number of patients as a cohesive group.
