Osyk S. Public policy in the field of forming a culture of public health in Ukraine

The thesis offers a general overview of scientific and theoretical foundations and substantiates the basic theoretical provisions for the implementation of public policy in the field of culture of public health in Ukraine and on this basis developed practical recommendations for improving public policy in the field. Analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations of public policy in the field of health culture allowed to justify the need for global changes in the system of domestic public administration in the field of health culture, which are to establish new formats of relations between citizens and public policy actors. based on constant monitoring of the state of its implementation) by actively involving citizens in solving problems of preserving the health of modern Ukrainian society. The state of normative and legal support of public policy in the field of forming the culture of public health in Ukraine is clarified. The analysis shows that, in general, the legislation of Ukraine corresponds to the main international strategies of public policy on the formation of a culture of health. At the same time, there is an obvious need to refine the legal framework in order to comprehensively ensure the activities of all professionals working in the field of culture of public health, including socio-pedagogical activities of social educators and social workers. Practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of public authorities in the study area are offered.
