The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the work lies in the fact that for the first time: the level of emotional intelligence of specialists of The State Employment Servicehas been determined and its socio-demographic and professional features have been analyzed; the level and socio-demographic and professional features of professional self-realization of specialists of The State Employment Service have been determined; the peculiarities of the relationship between emotional intelligence and components of professional self-realization of specialists of The State Employment Service have been analyzed; the role of emotional intelligence in the professional self-realization of specialists of The State Employment Service has been determined; it has been developed and tested a training program for the development of emotional intelligence to increase the level of professional selfrealization of specialists of The State Employment Service; the content and structure of professional self-realization of specialists of The State Employment Service have been specified; the description of professional activity of specialists of The State Employment Service of Ukraine specialists has been expanded; understanding of the peculiarities of interpersonal interaction «specialist-client» in the context of the professional activities of specialists of The State Employment Service has been deepened. The practical significance of the research results is in the development and implementation of a training program for the development of emotional intelligence of specialists of the state employment service to increase their professional selfrealization, which helps to increase the level of emotional awareness of specialists, development of understanding and awareness of emotional information; development of skills to manage their own emotional states (emotional self-regulation); mastering the system of knowledge and skills for constructive influence on the emotional state of other people (constructive interaction with clients of the employment service). Research materials can be used: a) in the organization of professional training of specialists of The State Employment Service; b) in the development of individual programs of personal and professional development of specialists of The State Employment Service in district branches and offices of the employment service; c) in preparing psychologists to work with specialists of The State Employment Service aimed at improving their professionalism; d) in the disciplines "Organizational Psychology", «Psychology of Work», etc.
