The dissertation is dedicated to developing theoretical and applied principles and advocating the state’s instruments of economic and social policy by means of using the potential of the information economy in overcoming inequality in the society. In this dissertation the key concepts of post-industrial, information and digital economy have been analyzes; the main processes of its technologization that affect economic activities and characterize the information economy as a new economic system have been mainly emphasized and the reasons for producing economic inequalities by the disproportionate development of different countries have been pointed out.
