Essay

The dissertation is devoted to scientific and theoretical generalization and practical solution of the scientific problem on the formation of acmeological competence to future navigators in the process of professional training in maritime institutions of higher education. The aim of the study is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally verify the effectiveness of organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of acmeological competence to future navigators in the process of professional training considering the results of the analysis of the theory and practice of professional training. The first section – «Theoretical aspects of the formation of acmeological competence to future navigators» – highlights different approaches to the definition of the basic concepts of the study, considers the content and structure of acmeological competence of future navigators, and analyzes the state of the problem under study. The second section – «Justification of the model and organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of acmeological competence to future navigators in the process of professional training» – establishes the features of modern professional training of future navigators in maritime institutions of higher education on the formation of acmeological competence, presents the model and organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of acmeological competence to future navigators in the process of professional training, determines the criteria and indicators of acmeological competence of future navigators and the levels of the competence are characterized. The third section – «Experimental verification and results of implementation of organizational and pedagogical conditions of formation of acmeological competence to future navigators in the process of professional training» – verifies the effectiveness and presents the results of the implementation of organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of acmeological competence to future navigators in the process of professional training by implementing an appropriate model with a harmonious combination of classroom and extracurricular subject-cognitive activities of cadets of higher education maritime institution, interactive forms and teaching methods. The scientific novelty of the study is that: for the first time: there have been substantiated organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of acmeological competence to future navigators in the process of professional training; the model of the formation of acmeological competence to future navigators in the process of professional training has been developed; the diagnostic apparatus for figuring out the state of the formed acmeological competence has been improved through the use of criteria, corresponding indicators and characteristics of the levels of formation of the above-mentioned property; there have been clarified conceptual apparatus on the problem of the research, in particular the content of the concept «acmeological competence of the future navigator» and its structure; features of modern professional training of future navigators in maritime institutions of higher education on the formation of acmeological competence; there have been further developed provisions on the introduction of forms, methods and means for forming acmeological competence in the process of professional training of future navigators during their study in maritime institutions of higher education. The practical significance of the results is that there has been developed and implemented educational and methodological support for the formation of acmeological competence to future navigators, which is carried out in the process of their professional training, namely: special course «Acmeology in the professional training of future navigators»; Theoretical and methodological textbook «Theoretical and methodological aspects of formation of acmeological competence to future navigators»; didactic developments (acme-exercises for general academic and special disciplines).
