Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical analysis and generalization of approaches to understanding and studying the individual psychological characteristics of men and women in violation of family life in adultery. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time the relationship of individual psychological characteristics with the characteristics of the psychoemotional sphere, personal response, the specifics of sexual communication, family relationships, and the ability to resolve conflicts have been determined. Also, their cumulative effect on the life of the family has been established. Two types of combination of accentuations have been identified that have a destructive effect on the life of the family: dysthymic with stuck and anxious with emotive. In the genesis of the development of disorders in the life of the family, the features of personal response were revealed: the fight against personal weaknesses, shortcomings, mistakes; fear of analyzing oneself and one's own actions, “hiding” and “postponing” their decisions; overestimated self-esteem, self-deception, existence in a “far-fetched world”, low communication. Specificity of sexual communication has been clarified. The leading psychological characteristics of sexuality, destroying the family, were revealed, namely: sexual relations are perceived only as satisfaction, and there is no concern about premarital and extramarital affairs; there are partner accusations due to non-fulfillment and disappointment; there is a conflict between inner convictions and drives; there is a search for exclusively sensual pleasure; nervousness manifests itself in the presence of persons of the opposite sex; there is a passion for the physical side of sex without its spiritual component; manifest hostility and aggressiveness in sex without the consent of the partner. The characterization of relations in the family is expanded by defining the degree of their disharmony: “completely unfavorable”, “unfavorable”, “rather unfavorable”. According to the components of the triad of love, conjugal interactions are divided as follows: violation of tension and balance in a couple; inconsistency of one's own hopes with the needs of a partner; emotional stress and frustration in relationships; lack of "context of relationships" in the representation of "ideal love"; in couples who have lived as a family for a long time, the fact of adultery is perceived as "expected" with a "conscious attitude." The understanding of the factors that reduce the ability to resolve conflicts and a crisis situation has been deepened, namely: dissatisfaction with the emotional need for communication (loss of a feeling of love, emotional closeness, support and understanding); “demonstration by an adulterer” of a family crisis (inconsistency of verbal and non-verbal communication, manipulation of a partner, blocking and distortion of the transmission of feelings); couples with a longer experience of living together revealed a decrease in non-constructive forms of behavior in conflict ("rivalry", "avoidance"), an increase in "adaptation", an increase in "cooperation" and "compromise". The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the development and implementation of CFCSA. The methodological foundations, content, principles of CFCSA, including the psychosocial portrait of a man / woman in a crisis family, have been substantiated. The "Scheme of family counseling by a couple" has been developed, in which the conceptual apparatus are: "the level of disability in the life of the family", "the degree of perception of family counseling", "the restorative potential of the family." The program uses the Algorithm for the loss of the restorative potential of the family and the Algorithm for overcoming pathological reactions and actions of the family in family counseling. The content of CFCSA is set out in the "Modular program of supporting thematic classes in family counseling (psychocorrection)". The research results can be used: a) when organizing family counseling; b) in the development of personal psychological counseling programs; c) in the disciplines "Family psychology", "Psychology of sexuality", "Crisis psychological counseling and first psychological aid", "Group psychotherapy and supervision", etc. Key words: adaptation, addictive behavior, adultery, accentuation, maladaptation, child-parent relationship, emotional burnout, life changes, marital satisfaction, counseling and correction, crisis and conflict, morality, limitations of opportunities, married couple, disruption of life, family health, psychological features, psychotherapy, sexuality, family interaction, stress, social transformation, anxiety, family functioning, I-concept of personality.
