The thesis focuses on the theoretical analysis and generalization of approaches to understanding and studying of a psychological phenomenon "professional burnout", "adaptation" and research of influence of psychological factors of professional burnout on the average medical staff (AMS) working in the conditions of the increased stress of ATO / JFO veterans (with veterans).
The scientific novelty of the study is that for the first time was the relationship of individual psychological characteristics with the characteristics of the psycho-emotional sphere, increased professional stress, dissatisfaction with functioning, social frustration and their combined impact on burnout of nurses in working with veterans.
It is revealed that combinations of individual psychological features and type of personality accentuations differently form the depth (level) of neurotic disorders. Demonstrative type of accentuations is typical for people under the age of 25 and is manifested by egocentrism and demonstrative behavior. AMS who have cyclothymic type of accentuation show instability and excessive emotional inclusion, hyperbolization of events, manifested by mood swings and irritability. For AMS who have emphasis on the emotional type is characterized by emotional lability with a predominance of impulsiveness, poor mood, prone to conflict. While dysthymic accentuation any contacts decrease, and as for the behavior during exalted accentuation, the tendency to adventurism, egocentrism with inadequate self-assessment of one's own actions increases.
Studying the psycho-emotional sphere, it was found that the formed symptoms of anxiety and stress are prerequisites for professional / emotional burnout which individuals have in groups both by age and work experience. It has been established that at the age of 50 there is a growing concern about the appearance of general somatic symptoms, which in the future are the basis for the development of psycho-emotional exhaustion syndrome which AMS have and if they also have more than 10 years of experience. Psycho-emotional exhaustion as a sign of stress of AMS has a wide range of manifestations which is from empathy (desire to understand and help) to distancing from real events, immersion in self-empathic personal space. It is established that AMS have symptoms of depression and excitability increase with work experience in conditions of increased stress and are modified into maladaptive with the formation of psycho-emotional exhaustion.
There is an in-depth understanding that the level of satisfaction with functioning in various spheres of life and social frustration which AMS have, depends on the length of service and the use of various mechanisms of psychological protection against traumatic factors. AMS which are over the age of 50 adequately perceive themselves in a professional environment and in society. Groups of the AMS up to 25 years and up to 50 years showed a high level of frustration in the areas of financial situation, medical care, events in society.
Signs of professional maladaptation of AMS are specified. They are: deterioration of well-being, decrease in the general activity, fatigue, somatovegetative disturbances, disturbance of a cycle "sleep - activity", restriction of social interaction, decrease in motivation to activity.
It has been expanded the understanding of the connection between personal characteristics and the duration of medical experience which the AMS have, has been expanded, it has been established that the emotional response and conditions of psycho-emotional exhaustion decrease when experience is increasing. Professional experience becomes the foundation for the prevention of negative influences in conditions of increased stress.

The methodological principles, content and principles of realization of this system are substantiated.
