Essay

The dissertation is devoted to improving the theoretical and methodological foundations of professional training of future social workers, which is specified in scientifically sound, developed and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions that provide training for future social workers to teach health disciplines in the master’s degree. Based on the analysis of scientific and pedagogical sources, it is established that the preparation of future social workers to teach health disciplines in higher education is a complex, systematic personal-professional phenomenon that integrates value-motivational, content-operational and reflective components, determines efficiency future socio-pedagogical activities and professional development of the future social worker and is an indicator of his successful training as a future specialist in social work. It is highlighted that with the improvement of higher education and the introduction of new pedagogical technologies in the educational process of higher education in Ukraine through specially organized training of future social workers to teach health disciplines, it is possible to achieve positive results in training teachers of higher education. The presented results of the observational experiment allow to determine the content and components of readines of future social workers for teaching health disciplines in the conditions of master’s degree. The presented value-motivational component of readines of future social workers for teaching health disciplines, provides professional pedagogical orientation of the individual, is the main and consists of a system of motives and goals that determine the professional activity of the future teacher of higher education. The selected content-operational component of readiness for teaching health disciplines contains three components: 1) cognitive (system of professional knowledge); 2) constructive (set of professional skills and abilities); 3) professional and personal (system of professionally significant qualities necessary for the effective implementation of teaching activities in the process of master’s training of students majoring in 231 «Social Work» in higher education institutions of Ukraine). The characterized reflexive component of readines of future social workers for teaching health-preserving disciplines provides a positive attitude to teaching, produces pedagogical thinking; determines successful professional adaptation; contributes to the regulation of the teaching of health disciplines; creates conditions for the development of professional competence; contributes to the prevention and overcoming of professional crises in the teaching and socio-pedagogical activities of future teachers of health disciplines. The content of master’s training of future social workers is substantiated, which has three aspects: theoretical (mastering the system of basic knowledge on the theory and practice of teaching in general and teaching health disciplines in particular in higher education institutions); practical (formation of a system of professional pedagogical skills of master’s students majoring in 231 «Social Work»); professional and personal (development of professionally significant qualities, professional identity of future social workers, teachers of higher education institutions). The analysis of results of a formative stage of pedagogical experiment is presented that testifies to more significant positive shifts of absolute average values of qualitative changes (increase of results) after experiment at students of experimental groups in comparison with students of control groups. Pedagogical conditions for training future social workers to teach health disciplines are: stimulating the value-motivational sphere of future social workers to teach health disciplines; improving the content of preparation of future social workers for teaching health disciplines by means of a special course «Teaching health disciplines»; involvement of future social workers in health-preserving activities. A conceptual model of preparation of future social workers for teaching health disciplines in the conditions of master’s degree is developed, which is a unity of blocks: target (purpose of preparation for teaching health disciplines, formation of value-motivational component, formation of content-operational component, formation of reflexive component); content-operational (principles: general pedagogical, special; pedagogical conditions; content; forms and methods) and productive (positive motivation of teaching, professional self-improvement, humanistic professional-pedagogical orientation).
