The dissertation is a theoretical and experimental study of the problem of formation of information-analytical competence of future bachelors of computer science using project teaching methods. In the Introduction, the relevance of the research topic is substantiated; the object, subject, purpose, tasks, research methods are planned; scientific novelty and practical significance of the work are given, information on approbation and implementation of research results is given. In the first section – “Theoretical and methodological bases of the problem of formation of information-analytical competence of future bachelors of computer sciences” - based on studying historical-pedagogical and modern scientific literature the analysis of essence and structure of information-analytical competence of future computer sciences bachelors is carried out. The diagnostics of the actual state of formation of the specified competence at students are given. The dissertation presents the author’s interpretation of information-analytical competence of bachelors of computer science as an integrative quality of personality, which characterizes purposeful and effective search, analysis, systematization, processing, use, and interpretation of various information, data mining to get new knowledge and operational support of making timely and informed decisions typical of activities in the information society. Under the formation of information-analytical competence of future computer science bachelors we understand a controlled system process consisting of mental and practical actions aimed at students mastering the ability to obtain, select and analyze information, the ability to adapt to information space and technology, effectively use knowledge and information for solving problems in the field of digital technologies. The structure of information-analytical competence of future computer sciences bachelors is determined, which contains the following components: motivational, cognitive, technological, reflective, and creative.
