Essay

The dissertation on the basis of theoretical and methodological analysis of research of the problem of social and psychological rehabilitation of persons with disabilities analyzes the main scientific approaches in psychology for psychological support of students in an inclusive educational environment, psychological rehabilitation, forms and methods of work with psychologists with disabilities under the conditions of Higher Education Institution. The author critically analyzes the international practices of accompanying applicants with disabilities in the conditions of Higher Education Institution and the development of inclusive tourism abroad. The experience of psychological and pedagogical support of applicants with disabilities in Ukraine is analyzed. Achievements that can be implemented in the educational process of Higher Education Institution of Ukraine, including psychological support, individual and group work with a psychologist, the use of art therapy exercises and training sessions, the use of handouts in Braille, the involvement of a sign language interpreter, adaptation of training courses according to the needs of the applicant with disability, the creation of a distance learning system and the involvement of volunteers or assistants to help applicants with disability. The author developed, substantiated and experimentally tested the program of inclusive tourism as a means of social and psychological rehabilitation, which contains organizational, technological and effective levels and is aimed at cognitive, emotional, personal and motivational components. The author's program included: training, inclusive tourist routes, individual and group work with a psychologist. The cross-cutting and comprehensive nature of the program is implemented on the basis of the Center for Educational Integration and Inclusive Rehabilitation and Social Tourism «Without Barriers» of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. The result of the implementation of the program of social and psychological rehabilitation of applicants with disabilities is an increase in levels of adaptation in the educational environment and communication skills. The share of applicants with disabilities, involved in informal activities and the implementation of their own social projects has increased.
