It was the first to provide scientific substantiation of the procedure for applying physical therapy measures with respect to intellectual workers having chronic lumbosacral dorsalgia, based on the type of pain pattern, type of attitude to the disease, specifics of motivation to recover, impairments of life quality and work limitations. It was the first to identify peculiarities of clinical rehabilitation management based on the components of physical therapist’s activities (examination; prediction and planning of therapeutic measures; application of physical therapy strategies, methods, tools and techniques having scientific and evidence-based effectiveness; motivating intellectual workers with chronic lumbosacral dorsalgia to cooperate with physical therapists) taking into account the biopsychosocial model and main provisions of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health/
