Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of formation of value attitude to health at students of life sciences and environment universities. Based on the analysis of scientific sources in pedagogy, philosophy, psychology, sociology, the theoretical and methodological principles of forming a value attitude to health in youth are substantiated and a method of forming a value attitude to health in students at life and environment universities is proposed. Criteria, indicators and levels of formation of values of health attitude at students of universities of life sciences and environment are developed and substantiated. Criteria of formation are defined as follows: cognitive, emotional, motivational, behavioral. Indicators of cognitive criteria are knowledge of health and its components and awareness of the importance of health. Diagnosis of the researched problem and determination of levels of formation of value attitude to health at students of universities of life and environment gave the chance to allocate the basic tendencies and directions in formation and to substantiate a technique of formation of value attitude to health which consists of target, semantic, methodological, procedural and evaluation blocks that determine the purpose and objectives of the projected educational process, value system, methodological approaches, principles, forms and methods of education. Analysis of the results of experimental work showed that the dynamics of changes in the levels of values of health according to four criteria and relevant indicators became real due to the comprehensive and targeted application of experimental influences, developed methodology that led to behavioral, cognitive, emotional and motivational changes in formation. attitudes towards health among students life and environment universities.
