Essay

The purpose of the dissertation research is to determine the role of triggers in the media as a means of socio-political conflict. The object of the study is the influence of the media on socio-political conflict. The subject of the study is the formation and manifestations of triggers in the media as a means of socio-political conflict. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is due to both the set of tasks and the ways to solve them. Within the limits of the research carried out by the author the results having scientific value are received. It is determined that in Ukrainian political science for the first time a study of the formation and manifestation of triggers in the media as a means of socio-political conflict. Historiography and the source base of the study provide an opportunity to update this area of research and argue that in the modern scientific process in political science there are no studies aimed at understanding, analysis of the trigger in the media as a means of socio-political conflict. The use of the term "trigger-event" and the method of trigger-analysis of socio-political changes, the conflict of society is proposed. It is substantiated that in the process of a trigger event in the real world, a discourse is created precisely when there is interest in the event on the part of the communicative media space. The main goal is formed within the framework of establishing a discourse on the interpretation of the trigger event of the information field, and the strengthening of the media space in the future is successfully converted into non-media public activity. In this regard, a special role is played by the rapid allocation of large discourses of leading information resources in the context of current trigger events of national importance. The aim is to determine their field of interpretation regarding the subject of formation of semantic meanings, which distort the essence of the initial information drive and provoke destructive socio-political activity. Trigger analysis makes it possible to observe changes in various socio-political groups or events regarding political ideas, thoughts and movements; to analyze agitation and propaganda methods regarding ideological trigger events. The categorical apparatus of communicative activity has been improved: definition of such terms as trigger (types of triggers), mass media, network communities, understanding of media effects, media system, media space, etc. Network communities are described, which are non-classical social communities where different discourses can coexist and even conflict. It is determined that the influence of the political factor on the configuration of the media system does not show the goals and orientation of the models themselves: pluralistic meets the needs and demands of a democratic society; controlled provides social control of ruling groups; pluralistically focused on the interests of the ruling political elite and partly civil society. The practical significance of the obtained results is that the conclusions, ideas of work can be used in various fields of activity. The work is of special interest to politicians, political scientists, politicians, political technologists, journalists, bloggers, marketers, advertisers, etc. It is in these areas of activity that the most appropriate results of work. Theoretical calculations and practical recommendations will be useful in the activities of political actors at various levels, representatives of political parties, movements, etc. The results of the work are important for the development of election campaigns, regulation of the political process, the exercise of influence on certain political events. The dissertation materials can be used in the educational process, in the development of courses and special courses in political technology, political psychology, political advertising, the theory of journalism and more.
