Essay

The relevance of the dissertation research is due to the fact that it systematically considers one of the most important components of professional training of future music teachers - the formation of cross-cultural competence of students in the system of continuing education through digital technology. The dissertation reveals the philosophical aspects of cross - cultural competence as a phenomenon of modern socio - cultural reality, based on the scientific foundations of the post - classical paradigm; contributes to the holistic study of the professional development of the future music teacher in the system of continuing pedagogical education. Art education of the third millennium needs new concepts that emphasize the need for dialogue of cultures, namely cross-cultural education, which, above all, helps to overcome pedagogical ethnocentrism in today's pluralistic world. It is proved that with the creation of a cross-cultural environment of the pedagogical university is an opportunity to learn and appreciate the culture of different peoples of the world on the basis of generally accepted spiritual and moral values, and interdisciplinary, cross-disciplinary, cross-culture become the main methodological prerequisites for learning reality. This research strategy was used to emphasize the importance of spiritual and moral personality traits of the future music teacher in the context of the educational ideal.
