It is determined that professionally-oriented foreign language competence of junior specialists in the field of service is an integral ability of a future specialist, which allows him to successfully implement production tasks and functional responsibilities in various communicative situations and areas of foreign language communication based on a set of knowledge in vocabulary. - words and phrases characteristic of the language of specialists in a particular field of service), grammar (determine the adequate generation of sentences, texts), socio-cultural (determine the specifics of worldview, system of moral and ethical values, traditions, customs of different peoples) and special professional knowledge, skills and abilities. The pedagogical conditions are established and theoretically substantiated and the structural-functional model of formation of professionally oriented foreign language competence of junior specialists in the field of service is developed according to the generally accepted approaches to the organization of pedagogical process, including the purpose, principles, functions, components, complex of psychological and pedagogical conditions, means and algorithm professionally oriented foreign language competence of students – future professionals in the field of service. It is revealed that the formation of professionally-oriented foreign language competence of junior specialists is more effective through the implementation of the following pedagogical conditions: – development of positive motivation to learn a foreign language in the institution of professional (vocational) education; – creation of a foreign language environment for the training of junior specialists; – modeling of professional situations of foreign language communication during learning a foreign language; – integration of a foreign language in the process of teaching professional disciplines to junior specialists in the field of service. Criteria and levels are determined, indicators of formation of professionally oriented foreign language competence of junior specialists in the field of service are characterized. The main criteria are: foreign language professional knowledge, which characterizes the depth of knowledge about the foreign language component of professional significance, psychological and socio-cultural features of foreign language professional communication; foreign language professional skills - the level of application of the obtained culturological professional knowledge in order to carry out joint professional activities in accordance with the cultural norms of native speakers; foreign language professional relations - characterizes the ability to use existing knowledge in real communication with the representatives of the studied culture, to choose appropriate to the situation forms and norms of communication with a professional group, language and speech means of communication; solve problem situations in communication.
