Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the scientific task of substantiating theoretical and methodological approaches and developing practical recommendations for the formation of crisis management mechanism in agricultural enterprises, based on the results of diagnostics of their financial condition and threats of bankruptcy. The author's interpretation of the term "crisis management" is formulated, which is based on a system of measures in which the subject of crisis management (the state or an agricultural enterprise) on the basis of a risk-oriented approach with the help of forms, levers, methods and tools carries out detection, prevention, neutralization and minimization of crisis phenomena in order to ensure long-term financial stability and increase competitiveness. Methodical approaches to the use of tools in the crisis management of agricultural enterprises are systematized, the feature of which is to establish the sequence of diagnosis of the crisis state, analysis of the causes of the crisis and expected losses from the consequences of the crisis, assessment of the resource potential for possible prevention of the crisis and formation of a justified anti-crisis strategy of the agricultural enterprise. The trends in the activity of agricultural enterprises were studied and the key indicators of the onset of crisis signs in agricultural enterprises were outlined, which are defined by the seasonality of production, the transformation of the structure of land use in favor of large agricultural enterprises and the structure of crops in favor of technical and export-oriented agricultural crops, changes in the volume and assortment of products, violations of the technological cycle, price disparity and credit terms. The scale of crisis processes and the threat of bankruptcy are determined based on the results of diagnostics of the financial condition of agricultural enterprises. The improved architecture of anti-crisis management tools through the introduction of additional functions (development of anti-crisis management strategy and formation of competitive advantages) and types of anti-crisis management (competitive anti-crisis management) in agricultural enterprises is suitable for interlinking the set of anti-crisis management measures, causes of crisis situations and expected results as consequences of financial actions regarding the liquidation of debts of agricultural enterprises and activities of managers in bankruptcy. The developed scheme of the mechanism for strengthening and creating competitive advantages in the system of anti-crisis management of agricultural enterprises provides for solving the tasks of restoring the solvency of agricultural enterprises, including through innovations and effective management solutions to increase their competitiveness. Reasonable tools for generating and evaluating competitive advantages and the competitive status of agricultural enterprises and their rivals enable the formation of an anti-crisis management mechanism.
