Essay

The object is a conflict in the Middle East. The objective comprehensive analysis of the international conflict in the Middle East in the context of its political, cultural and security dimension. Methods - conflictological, historical-genetic, descriptive, statistical, systemic. Theoretical and practical results - the analysis of specific characteristics and determinants of regional conflict in the Middle East. Novelty - for the first time the author's working model of the analysis of the conflict in the Middle East at the present stage is offered; it is proved that the conflict can acquire certain features of the Cold War; it is argued that the level of conflict in the Middle East will not be reduced in the short and medium term; clarified that the conflict over regional leadership in the Middle East took shape after the Arab Spring revolutions; the idea that the origins of the conflict have a complex ideological basis; further developed the idea and arguments that the common contour of the international conflict in the Middle East is formed by a series of conflicts between individual countries in the region; and the assertion that the conditions of competition among Islamic blocs are increasingly determined by their strategic and doctrinal positions multiplied by the state of the complex capacity (potential) of each state.
