Chikov I.A. Innovative mechanism for increasing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises - Qualification scientific work on the rights of the manuscript. The dissertation work is devoted to the solution of an actual scientific problem, aimed at improving the theoretical and methodological basis and forming an innovative mechanism for increasing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises in modern conditions, taking into account the factor of the life cycle of economic systems. Entrepreneurial activity in the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine and agricultural enterprises of Vinnytsia region became the subject-object base of the research, i.e., PJSC Dashkivtsi (Dashkivtsi, Litynsky district), LLC Ahrokompleks Zelena dolyna (Tomashpil, Tomashpil district), AE YaVIR (Somaky, Khmilnytskyi district), AE IRYNA-O.T. (Kryvoshyi, Khmilnytskyi district), LLC Selyshchanske (Selyshche, Tyvriv district). When considering the theoretical aspects, it is proven that the innovative vector of development is one of the key factors in increasing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. In particular, the management of innovative activities in the context of the rational use of innovative potential plays a significant role in the generation and strengthening of competitive advantages, which form the basis for securing leading positions in the target market. This problematic determined the relevance of the topic, contributed to the formation of the goal, object and subject of scientific research, the identification of research tasks and the search for scientific novelty. Based on the results of the research, the author’s own vision of the concept of «innovation» was formed as a certain result in the quality of a new or improved product, service or production function, which includes the emergence of an idea, the generation of knowledge and skills, the use of scientific and technical achievements and the diffusion of developments; «innovation activity» as a set of measures aimed at ensuring the transformation of scientific research results into new or improved products or services; «innovation process» as a sequence of stages from the origin of the idea to the creation of the innovative product itself and its practical implementation. The synthesis of certain theoretical aspects of the structural components «innovation», «mechanism» and «competition» made it possible to define an innovative mechanism for increasing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises as a system of clearly organized actions that lead to an increase in the quality of the functioning of economic entities based on the accumulation of competitive advantages and their withdrawal to a qualitatively new level by providing signs of innovation and new economic content. In this context, it was determined that the implementation of an innovative mechanism for the competitive development of agricultural enterprises should consist in the formation of an effective strategy for their development, which will determine the content of functioning and set the logic of the entire business behavior of the entity in relation to its life cycle stages. The most relevant scientific opinions regarding the manifestation of competition in the process of economic relations between business entities are characterized, which allowed to formulate the author’s approach to the concepts of «competition», «competitive struggle», «competitive advantages» and «competitiveness» as the main categories in the formation of an innovative environment. The directions of formation of competitive advantages based on the effectiveness and importance of innovative measures in the process of production activities of agricultural enterprises are given. The process of forming the innovative competitiveness of agrarian enterprises by building sequential-parallel connections between the directions of economic, social, ecological and innovative social development is substantiated. Based on the results of the study, it was proved that the economic growth of agricultural enterprises is impossible without the introduction of research and development solutions in production, in particular, equipment of a new level of productivity and technology improvement. The needs for innovative organization of production are identified, the solution of which provides the emergence of new means and objects of labor, which will further create conditions for the intensive development of scientific and technological progress. It is substantiated that the tasks of scientific and technical progress in agricultural production are solved by applying the production functions of Cobb-Douglas, Cobb-Douglas-Tinbergen and the Solow model, which allow identifying the disincentive actions of the external and internal environment due to their influence on economic growth.
