The object of the study is is an organizational and economic mechanism of energy saving in agricultural enterprises. The purpose and task of the study is to identify and deepen the organizational and economic aspects of energy consumption and to substantiate the conditions for the formation and use of an effective energy saving management mechanism in agricultural enterprises. The theoretical and methodological basis was based on the study is of production, organizational and economic processes of energy consumption and energy saving, the formation and approval of proposals for increasing the level of energy saving in agricultural enterprises. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the substantiation of the set of theoretical, scientific-methodical and organizational-economic principles of energy saving in agricultural enterprises. Is proposed for the first time: a methodical approach to the formation of the organizational and economic mechanism of energy saving in agricultural enterprises, based on the identification of primary factors. Improved: methodological provisions for modeling an effective organizational and economic energy saving mechanism; the terminology of the concept of "organizational and economic mechanism of energy saving in an agricultural enterprise", the directions of energy saving management and the structural components of the organizational and economic mechanism of energy saving were studied. The theoretical provisions and practical substantiation of the patterns of energy consumption and the method of assessing energy saving in agricultural enterprises by substantiating the conditions of economical energy consumption have been supplemented.
